Polyform APB modular buoy
The Polyform APB modular buoy is great for both underwater, and surface use. APB buoys are made of polyethylene and are filled with polystyrene foam (EPS) or polyurethane foam (PUR), depending on the application. Because of the filling with PUR foam, it makes this buoy also very suitable for the
offshore
. The buoys are equipped with hot-dipped galvanized anchors, 4 full-length hot-dipped galvanized steel bolts, and a continuous chain through the middle.
By combining multiple modules, a buoyancy of +10,000 kg is achievable.
The steel fittings and chain may vary based on the application for which the buoy is used.
APB buoys are designed to form a modular system. Individual modules can be added or removed as needed to meet the desired buoyancy requirements.
In addition to the continuous chain through the middle, the shackles are secured with 4 hot-dipped galvanized steel bolts along their entire length. The buoys feature an integrated pipe as part of the upper module, allowing easy mounting of lights and various other fixtures.

APB buoys are produced with steel anchors for offshore applications, filled with polystyrene foam (EPS), polyurethane foam (PUR) or other types of foam, depending on the application. In addition, APB buoys are provided with reflective tape on four sides of the buoy.
