At Maru Watersports & Industry, we stand for the perfect combination of water sports and craftsmanship. Since our founding in 1961, we have dedicated ourselves to providing high-quality, A-grade products for water sports. Whether for superyachts or offshore projects and dredging, we offer the right products for every (maritime) application.
Our passion for water sports is deeply embedded in our DNA. The company has been in business for more than 60 years and was founded by Roel Elfring as Watersport B.V. in Amsterdam. In 1990, his daughter, Margreet Elfring, continued the business as Maru Watersport & Industrie.
The name Maru (meaning ”round” in Japanese) indicates that something is good. This is why Maru is also put behind a Japanese ship’s name as a patron saint to protect the ship, exactly what we as Maru value highly.
